once upon a midnight dreary a geeky chef felt all weary
over many a sweet but forgotten girl from yore
while I chilled nearly frozen trying hard to write my prose'n

I tried writing more but I felt plagerism can only go so far at midnight

nice and simple. yet still says a lot. its one of those the reader can kinda add wutever they want to it because it can be so open.

Short and simple -- always a favourite way to write poetry for me :p Of course, when I say "simple", it's just pretending to be, isn't it? The simplest poems are often the ones with the most behind them, if you care to look for it.
